I’ve recently connected my android phone to my car’s flip down monitor. Live TV and all of my DVR recordings while on the road! Sadly, that is the only disadvantage that I notice from this U-verse app. They allow their customers to download on demand content, but is that it? I instead use the Remote Access app from my employer, DISH Network, and they have built in Sling technology to allow streaming everywhere. I don’t doubt that there will many more revisions from U-verse, but they have much catching up to do.
